Helpful things to include
Reporting a data problem? Tell us:
- The station name or page link
- The date and time you looked
- What you saw and what you expected
If a live reading looks wrong, it may be a sensor problem at NOAA or CHS. We pass on real data as it arrives, but we still want to know.
Asking for a new place? Tell us the beach, town or harbor. We only add pages where a real tide station exists, but we can often point you to the closest one.
Want the tide widget for your site? Tell us your marina, club or shop name and the station you want. The widget is free.
What we can't help with
- Boating or navigation advice. This site is not for navigation.
- Flood warnings. In the US, check your local National Weather Service office. In Canada, check Environment and Climate Change Canada.
- Fishing or shellfish rules. Check your state or provincial agency.
