About the tides at Bay of Isles

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 9.4 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 11.9 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 17.0 ft, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 6.5 ft, today. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 15.0 ft on November 25 and bottom out at −3.4 ft on July 5.

Predictions for Bay of Isles come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here in 1998 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Port Audrey, 3 mi away. For tidal currents, see Snug Harbor.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
