About the tides at Bear Island

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Bear Island, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. With a mean range of about 1.94 m, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most Nunavut stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 2.41 m, comes on Monday, and the smallest, 1.71 m, tomorrow.
