Blacks Harbour has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. Blacks Harbour sees a mean range of about 4.99 m. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most New Brunswick stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 6.62 m, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 3.54 m, on Sunday.
