About the tides at Calaveras Point

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. With a mean range of about 6.6 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most California stations on this site. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 10.0 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −1.7 ft on December 24.
