About the tides at Cape Sharp

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.26 m. The tide range here is very large, about 10.16 m on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. That is larger than most Nova Scotia stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 12.12 m. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 7.80 m.
