About the tides at Fox Island Range Light

Fox Island Range Light has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The mean range is small, about 0.46 m, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most New Brunswick stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 1.15 m. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 0.05 m.

This is a prediction station. CHS calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. The nearest other station is Portage Island, 7.1 km away, where high tide comes about 20 min earlier. Canadian tide heights use chart datum, a level set low on purpose. Negative heights are uncommon.
