About the tides at Freeport Entrance Jetty

Tides at Freeport Entrance Jetty are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 1.3 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is larger than most Texas stations on this site.
