About the tides at Halls River bridge

Halls River bridge has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The mean range is small, about 0.4 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 0.8 ft. Neap tides follow on October 8, when the range shrinks to 0.5 ft.

This is a prediction station. NOAA calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. The nearest other station is Mason Creek, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 1 h 7 m earlier.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
