About the tides at Hope Bay

Hope Bay has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. With a mean range of about 1.57 m, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is smaller than most British Columbia stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 2.72 m, comes on October 14, and the smallest, 0.99 m, on Sunday.
