About the tides at Jenkins Creek, Polawana Island
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at Fort Pulaski, Savannah River. The range is large, about 6.6 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 9.1 ft.
