About the tides at Litchfield Beach bridge
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.5 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Springmaid Pier, Atlantic Ocean. The average range is about 2.6 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most South Carolina stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 25, with a range of 3.6 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 1.7 ft.
