About the tides at Little Bay Arm

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The average range is about 0.73 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 1.15 m. Neap tides follow on Tuesday, when the range shrinks to 0.60 m.

This is a prediction station. CHS calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. The nearest other station is Beachside, 5.1 km away, where high tide comes about 10 min later. Canadian tide heights use chart datum, a level set low on purpose. Negative heights are uncommon.
