About the tides at Mangrove Pt.
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. On a typical day the water moves about 2.8 ft between high and low. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.6 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 4.3 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 2.2 ft, on October 20. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 4.5 ft on December 25 and bottom out at −1.0 ft on November 25.
Predictions for Mangrove Pt. come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here from 1978 to 1979 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Ozello north, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 1 h 16 m later.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
