About the tides at Matanzas Inlet

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The average range is about 3.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 4.4 ft. Neap tides follow on October 13, when the range shrinks to 3.8 ft.
