About the tides at Meadow Point
Meadow Point has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. With a mean range of about 7.3 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 13.5 ft, comes on October 26, and the smallest, 8.1 ft, on October 22. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 12.8 ft on January 25 and bottom out at −3.9 ft on December 24.
Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Port Jefferson, 5 mi away. For tidal currents, see Shilshole Bay.
Predictions are based on Seattle, Puget Sound.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
