National City has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The average range is about 4.2 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 11, with a range of 6.7 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 2.4 ft.
