About the tides at Needle Cove

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.46 m, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The range is large, about 1.56 m on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most Nunavut stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 2.87 m. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 0.87 m.
