About the tides at North side

North side has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Unalaska, Dutch Harbor. The average range is about 2.3 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 30, with a range of 5.5 ft. Neap tides follow on October 29, when the range shrinks to −0.1 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 5.2 ft on December 23, and the lowest is −1.8 ft on June 6.

North side is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Unalaska, Dutch Harbor: highs come about 125 min and lows about 149 min earlier than there.
