About the tides at Point Clear

Tides at Mobile Bay are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 1.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 2.6 ft.
