About the tides at Point Isabel
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. On a typical day the water moves about 4.1 ft between high and low. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 6.2 ft, comes tomorrow, and the smallest, 1.3 ft, on October 17. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 7.3 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −1.8 ft on December 24.
Tides here are worked out from the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Richmond Inner Harbor, 2 mi away, where high tide comes about 7 min earlier. For tidal currents, see Fleming Point, 1.72 nmi. SW of.
Predictions are based on San Francisco, San Francisco Bay.
