About the tides at Portage Inlet

Most days here have a single high and a single low. Around neap tides the pattern can blur into small double tides. The average range is about 0.77 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most British Columbia stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Friday, with a range of 1.22 m. Neap tides follow on October 10, when the range shrinks to 0.54 m.
