About the tides at Seabrook

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Ashepoo River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Fort Pulaski, Savannah River Entrance. The range is large, about 6.0 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 7.4 ft. Neap tides follow on October 19, when the range shrinks to 4.5 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 8.0 ft on October 27, and the lowest is −1.7 ft on January 23.

Seabrook is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Fort Pulaski, Savannah River Entrance: highs come about 11 min and lows about 18 min later than there.
