About the tides at Selby

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. The average range is about 4.5 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 8.4 ft. Neap tides follow on October 31, when the range shrinks to 3.0 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 7.8 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −1.8 ft on December 24.
