About the tides at Sooke

Sooke has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The average range is about 1.28 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most British Columbia stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 2.95 m. Neap tides follow on October 29, when the range shrinks to 0.97 m.
