About the tides at Tignish

Tignish has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The mean range is small, about 0.51 m, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 1.16 m. Neap tides follow on Friday, when the range shrinks to 0.43 m.
