About the tides at Wrangel Bay
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Wrangel Bay, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The average range is about 0.94 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends.
This is a prediction station. CHS calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. The nearest other station is Discovery Harbour, 46 km away, where high tide comes about 10 min earlier. Canadian tide heights use chart datum, a level set low on purpose. Negative heights are uncommon.
Tide predictions and water levels from the Canadian Hydrographic Service. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
