About the tides at Annisquam

Annisquam has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The range is large, about 8.8 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 9.6 ft. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 10.9 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 8.3 ft.
