About the tides at Aransas Wildlife Refuge

Aransas Wildlife Refuge usually gets one high and one low tide a day, known as a diurnal tide. Water here rises and falls only about 0.3 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Texas stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 0.2 ft, comes tomorrow, and the smallest, 0.1 ft, on October 23.
