About the tides at Bayou La Batre

Most days here have a single high and a single low. Around neap tides the pattern can blur into small double tides. The pattern follows the reference station at South Pass. Water here rises and falls only about 1.5 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction.
