About the tides at South Pass

South Pass usually gets one high and one low tide a day, known as a diurnal tide. The mean range is small, about 1.2 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 2.0 ft. Neap tides follow on October 23, when the range shrinks to 0.3 ft.
