About the tides at Biloxi
Most days here have a single high and a single low. Around neap tides the pattern can blur into small double tides. The mean range is small, about 1.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 1.8 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 14, with a range of 2.0 ft. Neap tides follow tomorrow, when the range shrinks to 0.5 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 2.5 ft on December 23, and the lowest is −0.8 ft on December 23.
This is a prediction station. NOAA calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. NOAA measured the tide here from 2004 to 2005 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Biloxi (Cadet Point), 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 33 min earlier.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
