About the tides at Black Rock Point

Black Rock Point has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The average range is about 0.79 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Nova Scotia stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 1.19 m. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 0.16 m.
