About the tides at Blakes Landing
Blakes Landing has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. On a typical day the water moves about 3.5 ft between high and low. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 6.6 ft, comes on October 28, and the smallest, 2.3 ft, on October 31. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 6.2 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −1.4 ft on December 24.
