About the tides at Bodega Harbor entrance
Bodega Harbor entrance has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at SAN FRANCISCO (Golden Gate). The average range is about 3.7 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 6.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Saturday, when the range shrinks to 2.0 ft.
Bodega Harbor entrance is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting SAN FRANCISCO (Golden Gate): highs come about 38 min and lows about 16 min earlier than there. The nearest other station is Tomales Bay entrance, 7 mi away, where high tide comes about 26 min later.
Predictions are based on SAN FRANCISCO (Golden Gate).
