About the tides at Bridesburg
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.7 ft. The range is large, about 5.9 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 6.9 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 5.8 ft.
This is a prediction station. NOAA calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. The nearest other station is Pavonia, 3 mi away. For tidal currents, see Fisher Point.
