About the tides at Tacony-Palmyra Bridge

Tacony-Palmyra Bridge has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The range is large, about 6.6 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most New Jersey stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.1 ft. The next spring tides peak on Saturday, with a range of 7.4 ft.
