About the tides at Constable Hook

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Constable Hook Upper Bay, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at The Battery, New York Harbor. The average range is about 4.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 6.4 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 3.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 6.3 ft on August 2, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on January 23.
