Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.7 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at The Battery, New York Harbor. The average range is about 4.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 7.1 ft.
