About the tides at East Quoddy Head

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at East Quoddy Head, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The tide range here is very large, about 4.99 m on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. That is larger than most New Brunswick stations on this site. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 5.96 m. Neap tides follow on October 18, when the range shrinks to 3.78 m.
