About the tides at Fillman's Creek
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.8 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Clearwater Beach. The average range is about 2.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.4 ft. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 3.9 ft. Neap tides follow on October 19, when the range shrinks to 2.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 4.6 ft on August 2, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on January 21.
