About the tides at Flamingo

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Key West. The average range is about 2.1 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Monday, with a range of 3.2 ft. Neap tides follow on October 20, when the range shrinks to 2.0 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 3.7 ft on October 29, and the lowest is −0.7 ft on January 21.

Flamingo is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Key West: highs come about 328 min and lows about 440 min later than there. NOAA measured the tide here from 1964 to 2021 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Shark River entrance, 19 mi away, where high tide comes about 2 h 9 m earlier.
