About the tides at Fripps Inlet
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. With a mean range of about 5.8 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 7.3 ft, comes on October 10, and the smallest, 6.2 ft, on Sunday.
Predictions for Fripps Inlet come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. The nearest other station is Johnson Creek Bridge, 4 mi away, where high tide comes about 15 min later. For tidal currents, see Fripps Inlet, Fripps Island.
Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
