About the tides at Village Creek Entrance

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Village Creek Entrance, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Fort Pulaski, Savannah River. With a mean range of about 6.0 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.4 ft, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 4.5 ft, on Monday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 8.3 ft on October 27 and bottom out at −1.8 ft on January 23.
