About the tides at Gaviota State Park

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The average range is about 3.6 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 5.3 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 7.4 ft.
