About the tides at Gold Street Bridge

Gold Street Bridge has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. With a mean range of about 7.6 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most California stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 9.3 ft. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 12.1 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −1.8 ft on December 24.
