About the tides at Halifax

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.10 m. The average range is about 1.23 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 1.92 m. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 0.85 m.
