About the tides at Ingram Thorofare

Ingram Thorofare has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Atlantic City, Atlantic Ocean. On a typical day the water moves about 4.0 ft between high and low. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 4.6 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 5.4 ft, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 2.9 ft, today. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 5.4 ft on August 2 and bottom out at −1.1 ft on January 23.
