About the tides at Stites Sound

Stites Sound has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Atlantic City, Atlantic Ocean. The average range is about 3.7 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 5.5 ft on August 2, and the lowest is −1.1 ft on January 23.
