About the tides at Innetalling Island
Innetalling Island has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 1.16 m. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 12, with a range of 1.53 m. Neap tides follow on October 7, when the range shrinks to 0.99 m.
This is a prediction station. CHS calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. It was established in 1957. The nearest other station is Tukarak Island, 49 km away, where high tide comes about 9 min earlier. Canadian tide heights use chart datum, a level set low on purpose. Negative heights are uncommon.
Tide predictions and water levels from the Canadian Hydrographic Service. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
